Lance Lazor is a character and voicebank for the UTAU Software. If you are a music producer/composer and wish to have a virtual singer sing your songs with an iconic design than look no further than Lance Lazor. UTAU is a "voice synthesizing software" which means it's software that creates a virtual voice to go along with music. Essentially think garage band or fl studio only instead of manipulating instruments your manipulating a series of vocal sounds known as a "voice bank" in order to create harmony and a voice to sing your lyrics. It's a virtual voice that you can use to make songs with!

Lance Lazor as a character is portrayed as an ominiust optimist, with bubbly energy. Pansexualand genderfluid. Everything else about Lance is open to interpretation, and they can be used in any way shape or form except for political content (without express permission from Dionysus Frost who only speaks English) Lance uses he/she/ and they pronouns.  Lance is normally portrayed as 16 years old however is often alliteratively portrayed as 23, and 19. If you plan to use Lance in any sexual content please age them up.  Lance prefers the honorific Chan to Kun.

Commercial Use and Terms of Use: Lance may be used in commercial projects with the purchasing of a license. This license includes likeness of his character, cd covers, posters of song based merch, derivatives, nsfw (including violence, and sexual content) music videos, animations, and marketing therein. However he made not be used in merchansize sales exclusing covers of CD's and records (bandcamp included in marketing rights). Merch would be defined as tshirts, hoodies, plushies, and other physical goods excluding cd's and records. Lance Lazor excluding albums (or original musical conetent such as music videos or mmd animations) may not be used in promotional material. Lance Lazor's likeness may also not be used in commercial without express permission unless it is marketing a specific song or CD.

Lance may be used in commercial songs, music videos, albums and nsfw content without permission however all commercial content must be done with purchasing of a license which you can purchase further down on this page. Derivatives of Lance belong to the owners of the derivatives until the passing away of Dionysus Frost, Lance Lazor Derivative designs are allowed (While Dionysus is alive) and belong to owners of said banks as long as they don't include Lance's yellow Logo. (The bright one on his dress).

Derivative banks must be done with permission and while distribution of these banks is allowed, must be done for noncommercial use and not be sold or allowed donations on the download page there of. However after Dionysus passes away this rule will be removed and new banks (presumably made from soundclips of Dionysus's voice can be used, redistributed, and profited of from all parties because he will be dead).

Types of Banks: The UTAU software comes with a variety of reclists and banks to use.  This download page includes all of Lance's Japanese Banks. Each reclist and bank works differently. The easiest to use for newcomers is CV however it is oto'd a little funny and sounds the most  robotic.

The banks on this page are VCCV, CV, and CVVC. Each one works differently and I suggest researching different banks before download. Not all banks are required to make Lance sing in Japanese (one bank is enough) however all banks are provided here for download.

Please note that at first UTAU no matter the language it's recorded in sounds a little robotic to the ear. So please be patient and get used to it by searching covers before you attempt to use Lance!
