What is UTAU?

UTAU is a voice synthesizing software that allows you to mix and edit a virtual singing voice, in order to create a vocal track to your music when you lack a singer or are in general- a weeb. It works by taking pre-recorded sounds, such as “le, eh, ka, sa” and then mashing them in the editor to form a vocal arrangement that creates the illusion of a person singing. It sounds unnatural and sometimes even uncanny to native speakers at first (it’s not a real human so its sounds off in places), so find a language you don’t speak and listen to it that way, migrate into your native tongue and bam!

Most “voicebanks” which are the vocal files, come with an “personification” of the voiceclips as an anime character, and have a description, the art is usually in an anime/japanese inspired style or sometimes a furry or sketchy style, and have a description of a character per vocal bank. most UTAUloids are free to use! Lance can be purchased with a commercial license on itch.io. Each UTAU has their own terms of use and so and so forth.

Lance Lazor has a malleable age. So her age depends on the person and the song they are doing. The youngest she is portrayed is usually 13-16. With the oldest she is, is usually between 20-30’s.
